TRINITY FAQS
We would love to help answer some of your questions!
Trinity Presbyterian Church is located at 10925 N. Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33613
We believe that God, in His Word, calls us to gather as His church for worship on Sunday. Our worship service is at 9:30 am and lasts about an hour. We have a time of fellowship with light refreshments after the worship service and Sunday School begins at 11:00 am.
On Sunday mornings there is a nursery available for children up to kindergarten age during the 9:30 worship service . There are also Sunday School classes available at 11:00 for children of all ages and adults.
On Sunday evenings our Youth Group meets from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the Activity Building. This youth ministry is for students from 6th to 12th grade. It is led by Alex and Jenny Buffalo.
Trinity Presbyterian Church is a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARPC) which is a conservative, biblical, evangelical denomination. The ARPC has had a long and rich history in the US. While we are a part of this denomination, the people that gather each Sunday for worship come from many different backgrounds.
We read Scripture, sing, pray, and preach a sermon based upon a passage of Scripture. We utilize a traditional order of worship with a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary songs to help us worship and hear from God.
On Sunday mornings most of our congregation wears business casual attire and then very casual attire to our other events. But please wear whatever makes you most comfortable.
Will I have an opportunity to meet people?
What does it mean to be reformed?
Forming deep friendships with people is important and happens naturally by spending time with them. After the worship service we have a time of refreshments and hanging out so that we can spend time together. Please join us this Sunday after the worship service.
The reformation began in the 1400 and 1500s with the work of Jan Hus, Martin Luther and John Calvin. The goal was to address or reform some of the shifts that had taken place in the church. One of the greatest reforms was that justification was by faith alone apart from works. It is important to note we do not believe that you need to be reformed or to be a Christian to join us for our worship service on Sunday mornings.
We want to help you know Jesus!
